This documentary shows how myth has a powerful and important role in our daily lives, and what happens to our lives when myth is missing from it.
The Frouds lend their hands to create characters who tell us different myths within a myth throughout the film. These myths are then expounded on by a panel of spiritual experts who discuss how these myths touch our own lives, how we live the myths in our own lives.
We learn how we need to step up and take responsibility for our actions – and indeed our own inaction – in order to change the world around us.
The people interviewed in this film work to show us that life needs to be fully lived, not just followed along, We spend too much time just getting by, and not truly getting involved in life. We need to be the change we want to see in the world.
We need to write our own new myths, figuring out who we are, and where we are going, what we need to do to evolve. We need to use the myths of the past to learn from in order to bring about the future we want to see.
This award winning film is thought provoking and is sure to be the beginning of many conversations that will hopefully lead people to making many changes in their lives to bring about a new, better world in the future.
